“Only those thoughts that come by walking have any value.”
— Friedrich Nietzsche, Twilight of the Idols, “Maxims and Arrows”, §34
Mountain lover and active member of the
Swiss Alpine Club SAC (Geneva section), I enjoy sharing and discussing my latest hikes. Below is a non-exhaustive list of them.
For those unfamiliar with the terminology, 100 m of D+ corresponds to 100 meters of elevation gain, while 100 m of D− corresponds to 100 meters of elevation loss. By clicking on "GPX", you can download the corresponding hike itinerary in GPX format. Note that the indicated D+ and D− may differ from the values recorded in the GPX files, as some itineraries had to be adapted due to weather conditions and local constraints. The difficulty scale follows that of the Swiss Alpine Club, which can be found
here.
